Siemens Q1515AFCN is a 15A AFCI arc-fault circuit breaker engineered for demanding electrical systems in industrial and commercial environments. It delivers reliable overcurrent protection while actively detecting arcing faults to reduce fire risk, making it ideal for panelboards, switchboards, control panels, and OEM equipment.
Unlike standard overcurrent breakers, this AFCI model adds arc-fault protection that detects dangerous arcing patterns and interrupts power before damage can occur. This reduces fire risk and helps protect both equipment and personnel in busy electrical rooms or machine environments.
Position the Q1515AFCN within Siemens panelboards or compatible switchgear designed for AFCI devices. Confirm the 15A rating aligns with the circuit load, and ensure the device is wired according to the panel’s guidelines to maintain optimal protection.
