The Commander BQL50 is a 50 Amp, 120-volt, 1-pole bolt-on molded case circuit breaker designed to deliver dependable branch-circuit protection in panelboards and load centers. Built for reliability and straightforward installation, this unit is a practical choice for a wide range of electrical sets ups where single-circuit protection is needed.
When current exceeds the 50 A rating or a fault creates a short circuit, the thermal-magnetic trip activates to interrupt the circuit quickly. This minimizes potential damage to wires, devices, and downstream equipment while reducing downtime. The molded-case construction adds durability for years of steady service in busy panels.
Ensure the panelboard or load center is designed for a 1-pole bolt-on breaker of this rating. For best results, follow the panel manufacturer’s torque specifications on the mounting screws to maintain a secure, vibration-free connection over time. When replacing an existing unit, confirmOEM compatibility to preserve panel performance and warranty coverage.
