Type W

Type W MCCs are part of the original Westinghouse motor control center line, characterized by their heavy-duty steel construction and mechanical durability. These buckets were among the most commonly installed MCCs from the 1960s to the 1980s, and are still found in older plants, mills, and refineries.
Type W buckets typically include Westinghouse contactors, overload relays, and either fusible or breaker-based disconnects. AmpState supplies Type W replacement buckets, contact kits, heaters, and Eaton-compatible upgrades to help extend the life of aging systems with minimal disruption.
